Choosing a core bit

Arix or sintered?

Both series are laser welded and bonded for wet coring in reinforced concrete. The difference is the segment. Arix places every diamond in an ordered pattern, so the bit cuts smoothly and consistently through heavy rebar from the first hole to the last. Sintered segments give clean, controlled cuts and consistent results in everyday concrete coring at a lower entry cost.

Arix Concrete Core Bit
Heavily reinforced concrete, rebar-dense structural work, anchor and through-holes where a smooth, fast, consistent bore matters. Replacement segments: 24 × 5.5 × 12 mm and 24 × 6 × 12 mm.

Sintered Concrete Core Bit

Arix or sintered — which concrete coring bit should I use?

Black Series Arix core bits use ordered diamond placement for smooth, fast, consistent drilling in heavily reinforced concrete and rebar. White Series sintered core bits deliver clean, controlled cuts and consistent results in general concrete coring at a lower entry cost.

Will these core bits drill through rebar?

Yes. Both the Arix and sintered series are laser welded and bonded for reinforced concrete, so they hold their segments through rebar strikes.

Are replacement segments available for concrete core bits?

Yes. Black Series Arix core bits take 24 x 5.5 x 12 mm and 24 x 6 x 12 mm segments. White Series sintered core bits take 24 x 5.5 x 10 mm, 24 x 6 x 10 mm, 24 x 6 x 12 mm and 24 x 5.5 x 12 mm segments.

Are core bits and corebits the same thing?
